GridLine is a motorsport telemetry analysis app. This policy explains how the app handles your data.
GridLine does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no crash reporting services.
All session data — including GPS traces, speed logs, acceleration data, lap times, and computed scores — is stored exclusively on your device in a local SQLite database. This data never leaves your device except as described under Third-Party Services below.
The GPS coordinates, speed, and acceleration data displayed in GridLine come from compatible telemetry files you choose to import, or from a broadcast sent by compatible logging software on your local network when using the live session feature. This data originates from your own data-logging equipment. GridLine processes it entirely on your device and does not upload, share, or transmit your telemetry data to any server.
GridLine uses Mapbox to display satellite map imagery. When you view a session on the map, your device makes network requests to Mapbox servers to load map tiles. These requests may include:
GridLine disables the Mapbox SDK's optional usage-telemetry feature, so no additional analytics events are sent to Mapbox beyond the tile requests described above. Mapbox's handling of tile-request data is governed by the Mapbox Privacy Policy. GridLine does not share any personal information or telemetry data with Mapbox.

GridLine does not access your device's GPS, camera, contacts, microphone, or any other sensors or data stores.
You can delete any session from within the app at any time. All associated data is removed immediately. Uninstalling GridLine removes all app data from your device.
GridLine is intended for users aged 18 and older. It does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided any information through the app, please contact us so it can be removed.
Any material changes to this privacy policy will be posted on this page. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
